Serving as the President & Founder of Called To Rescue, Dr. Romine is recognized internationally as one of the leading authorities regarding children who are missing, have been abused or trafficked. Called To Rescue works with law enforcement to rescue children, provide extensive preventative and post-rescue awareness, and teach self-defense programs.
She has been rescuing children for over 35 years and provides active solutions for rescuing victims of this injustice. She has been described as a woman who is willing to crisscross the globe to answer the call of her passion regardless of personal cost. She’s weathered typhoons, been thrown in jail in the jungles of Asia, navigated floods and stood boldly in the midst of terrorism.
Dr. Romine helped the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation.
